Bitching Saves Lives

Did you see this? Women who don't express their feelings while arguing with their husbands are four times more likely to die than women who speak their minds. In other words, it is physiologically essential for women to complain, nag, whine, kvetch, and/or bitch.

Isn't science amazing?

I found this article to be somewhat misleading and here's why:

"But arguing style affected men and women differently. The level of warmth or hostility had no effect on a man’s heart health. For a man, heart risk increased if disagreements with his wife involved a battle for control."

This is one key issue this study did not factor or consider more carefully and in my opinion, is its central flaw. Women have learned that arguments can lead to domestic violence and are often silent for the sake of self-preservation. And the "control" mentioned in the quote above and from the article, is the catalyst for almost all instances of domestic violence and abuse by men.

I understand that this specific group was organized in an attempt to study what healthier couples might do when communicating during arguments, however; most women victims of domestic violence and abuse never report such things because like all kinds of abuse it comes with a warning - "If you leave/seek help/tell anyone, then you'll end up on the street/i'll kill you/you're crazy and I'll have you locked up."

Women will always choose silence, if need be, because the danger to their immediate state of health is perceived as increased greatly if they do speak up in arguments with men in marriage relationships. They could die.
